Bald Eagle

The Bald Eagle been the national bird since 1782.

Osprey and Eagles will typically not be found very close to each other. This is due to the Eagle stealing food from the Osprey, taking fish right from their talons.

The majority of a Bald Eagles diet is fish, although they are known to eat small mammals as well.

Eagles can swim! In the video below you can watch an Eagle use its wings to row its self to shore.
