American Crow

You can find these birds in many different habitats, both natural and human made places.

Crows are omnivores, eating both plants and animals.

The typical lifespan of a crow is between 10 to 15 years.

Crows are very social birds, often seen together rather than separate. In the winter you’ll see them come together to sleep in large communal roosts. Crows are also known for their problem solving skills. An interesting show of these skills is when preying on migratory birds, they will follow these birds and wait for them to land and prey on them when they are tired. In captivity crows are able to learn a variety of different behaviors including, painting, puzzles and mimicking.
