Spring wildflowers have been popping up throughout the state.  The return of the flowers is a perfect way to welcome spring and warmer weather.  The Iowa Native Plant Society annually celebrates May as Iowa Wildflower Month.

Join the O’Brien County Conservation Board naturalist for a Wildflower Walk.  Meet at the Prairie Heritage Center on Tuesday, May 19 beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Wear sturdy walking shoes as we will be taking a stroll through a prairie and woodland path looking for spring blooms.  Make plans to enjoy a lovely evening walk
