The O’Brien County Conservation Board is offering a “Spectacular Skies”
program is sure to please people of all ages. On Thursday, January 26,
beginning at 6:30 p.m., take a tour of the night sky from inside a portable
planetarium – the STAR LAB. This stellar “trip” will include a stop on the
moon, a fly-by of some of the planets in our solar system … and more!
Preview the “Great American Eclipse” which will occur this coming August.
Learn the story behind some of the constellation patterns. View the night
sky from the Southern Hemisphere. Even take a trip outside of our solar
system to visit the Milky Way.
