Enjoy a stroll through the crisp early winter evening.  The O’Brien County Conservation Board is holding a Meteor Shower Night Hike on Saturday, December 13.  Meet at the Prairie Heritage Center, 4931 Yellow Ave, at 7:00 p.m. for a hike along the path.  There will be a chance of seeing meteor as they stream through the sky, but mainly this is a great opportunity to explore the landscape after dark.  Listen for owls and coyotes.  Feel the crunch of the snow and the tang of cold air.  Dress in sturdy shoes and warm clothes.  If snow cover permits, snowshoes will be available.  The activity is appropriate for people of all ages and provided at no charge.  For more information, contact the Conservation Board at 712-295-7200.
