What better way to get outside than to go fishing? Join the naturalist intern at Prairie Heritage Center, Meara Hansen, for some Fishing Fun at Dog Creek Park. Try your hand at one of the great things we can do with our natural resources in Iowa. Meara will teach you how to bait a hook and cast so you can catch the biggest fish of your life! (Or so you’ll tell your friends.)
Program is free to the public. All persons ages 16 and older must have a license. Have a blast while fishing Wednesday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. Meet at the beach at Dog Creek Park. For further information, contact the O’Brien County Conservation Board at 712-295-7200.
