The O’Brien County Conservation Board is offering a multitude of
opportunities for youth to get outdoors and EXPLORE this summer.  These
activities are targeted for young people between the ages of 5-12.  The next
opportunity to get outdoors and explore is coming up on Thursday, June 23.

Meet at Douma Park near Sanborn to learn about geology.  There will be games
and activities that will help participants learn about the rock cycle,
fossils, gems and geodes.  Participants will also be making a craft.  Meet
in by the shelter at 9:30 a.m.  The fun will conclude at 11:30.

For more information about the event, contact the O’Brien County
Conservation Board at 712-295-7200.  Help the Prairie Heritage Center
