Spring has arrived! One of the signs of the season –
especially in Northwest Iowa – is WIND! Looking for something fun to do
over the holiday break? Focus on the fun of the windy spring season with a
family friendly program hosted by the O’Brien County Conservation Board.
The young and young at heart will enjoy this afternoon
event. Join the O’Brien County Naturalist at Dog Creek Park on Monday,
March 28 at 1:00 p.m. to “Color the Wind.” The program will include making a
kite … and flying it on the windy prairie slope by the lake. Meet at the shelter on the north side of the lake by the beach.

year anniversary of the Prairie Heritage Center during 2016!
