The “Can You Canoe and MORE?” event held by the O’Brien County Conservation Board is a popular way to learn a new skill or experience one you enjoy! The Conservation Board naturalist staff is offering an entry level experience to water recreation. You can try out a canoe, kayak and even a stand up paddle board at this event. “Can You Canoe and MORE?” 11026062_977002155664721_3133931327964741459_nwill be held on Tuesday, July 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Mill Creek Park.

Canoes, kayaks and paddle boards will be available at this event. If you haven’t had an opportunity to try out these recreational vessels, this would be a great opportunity to experience them.

The Conservation Board will provide all of the equipment necessary for the activities. Participants need only to bring is their sense of adventure! The program will begin with some paddling basics. Then people will glide into the lake to put their knowledge to the test.

The program is free to all. There are a limited number of vessels; so be prepared to share time on the lake with others. There will be plenty of time for participants to enjoy the experience.
