Have you ever gone camping and missed the ease of cooking in an oven? Join the O’Brien County Conservation naturalist intern, Meara Hansen, to learn how to use a Dutch oven.
You can have all of the great food that you cook at home while you are camping. You’ll also learn about fire building and some wild edibles. You’ll probably want to use some of these skills on your next camping trip.
Program is free to the public. Because we are cooking, this program may last up to about 2 hours, but will be done by 12:30. Come and eat your desert first, Saturday, July 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lodge at Mill Creek Park.
