Did you purchase camping coupons last year that are marked with an expiration date of October, 2020? If so, please note that those coupons will now be honored through October of 2021. We understand that some may not be able to make it this season due to COVID-19, so please stay home and take care of yourself if need be….your coupons will not go to waste!
For the safety of the public, we are continuing to keep our doors closed to visitors until May 15, 2020. Camping as well as cabin and shelter reservations will also be suspended until May 15. Stay well!
The long-awaited opening of Douma Park has finally arrived! The park rangers and contractors have done an amazing job on the upgrade. Visitors will hardly believe that it is the same park! The shower facility is an outstanding addition to the park. This amenity alone will transform the park into a modern, attractive location. O’Brien County is offering a beaver tail bounty for beavers taken in O’Brien County between the dates of December 10, 2019 and April 15, 2020. The beavers will be accepted at the Mill Creek Park Conservation Board Shop, 5560 460th Street, Paullina on Mondays from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. The trapper must have a valid Iowa Furbearer License and the tail must be attached to the beaver(s) when presented for bounty. A bounty of $35.00 will be paid per tail
Valero Renewable Fuels of Hartley Donates Refrigerator for the Crosbie Wildlife & Nature Youth Center
We would like to thank VALERO RENEWABLE FUELS of Hartley, Iowa for their very generous donation of a full-size refrigerator! This donation will be used at the Crosbie Wildlife & Nature Youth Center and will greatly improve our ability to provide snacks, meals and drinks for youth camps and programs. Winter hours begin this weekend November 3. Visit us on Wednesdays through Fridays, 9:00 am-4:00 pm and on Saturdays, 1:00-4:00 p.m. during the months of November through April. Stop out when you are able. There is always something fun to do!
