2021 Nature Nuts Series
Join us in-person or adventure on your own, with family or friends as you become an O’Brien County Conservation Nature Nut this year!
Once a month we will explore a different topic guided by the naturalist that will be hosted in person as well as have a virtual option. These programs will be hosted each month at an O’Brien County Conservation park or the Prairie Heritage Center. OR you can download all the materials from our website and do them at your own pace. Programs will consist of a presentation on the topic and a hands-on activity. In-person programs will be 45-60 minutes in length. Participants can do a mix of in-person or virtual programs to participate. Do one or do them all!
When you have completed that topic for the month get a stamp in your passport and you are on your way to becoming an official Nature Nut! If participating virtually and at your own pace, take a picture of your finished activity and share to social media using #OBCCNatureNut and tagging @o’briencountyconservationboard/prairieheritagecenter. When all twelve topics are completed turn in your passport to earn your Nature Nut badge!
