The MAMMOTH has arrived!

A life-size mammoth statue has arrived at the Prairie Heritage Center!  The latest addition to the O’Brien County Conservation Board’s nature center stands overlooking the prairie on the southwest side of the building.  The mammoth was fabricated and installed by Port Neal Welding Company of Salix, Iowa.  The project was funded by a grant from the O’Brien County Community Foundation and private donations.  Be sure to stop by and check it out the next time you’re in the area!
