County Conservation Camping Cabin and Campground Fee Increases
The O’Brien County Conservation Board is announcing a rate increase for the 2015 summer season for all camping cabins and campground sites. Due to the popularity of the 12-person camping cabins, the Board will be seeking grant funding for additional cabin construction. This fee increase will directly benefit the parks as the Conservation Board works towards important campground improvements.
Beginning November 15, 2014 camping cabin rates will be as follows, the 6 person cabins at both Dog Creek and Mill Creek parks will be $40.00/night, Sunday-Thursday, and $45.00/night on Friday, Saturday and Holidays. The 12-person cabins at Mill Creek will be $100.00/night, Sunday-Thursday, and $120.00/night on Friday, Saturday and Holidays. All cabins have a 2 night minimum stay and a $100.00 deposit is required.
The 2015 camping season nightly rates will be:
Mill Creek Park – $20.00/night
Dog Creek Park – $15.00/night
Douma Park – $12.00/night
Tjossem Park – $12.00/night
Coupon books will be offered for both Mill Creek (10 coupons for $175.00) & Dog Creek (10 coupons for $120.00) Parks.
