Dog Creek Cabin Construction
The Conservation Board was recently awarded $125,000 from the Land and Water Conservation Grant Fund! These funds, along with local match money, will be used to construct tow bin shaped cabins at Dog Creek Park. Once constructed, each of the cabins will sleep up to 18 people. The lower level will be handicap accessible. The upper level will include 2 bedrooms which are open to the living space below. Other amenities planned in each cabin include a full kitchen and bathroom, a living area and outdoor space.
The cabins will be located on Dog Creek South at the end of the cul-de-sac. Both cabins will have an incredible view of the lake. This improvement to the already popular Dog Creek Park will reach a growing group of outdoor recreation users who are interested in spending time outdoors but may not own or want travel with extensive equipment.
